As I can't back date posts I thought I might as well do a full post on my car history. First of all thank you to all you who read the first one. My only other successful publication was a lunchtime limerick with the BBC but they've stopped doing those. They used to give you a first line and you made up the rest. I bought my Jag in 2007 from Classic Autos in Brisbane Australia. The owner, Ben Cooke, is a Jag fanatic speciallising in XJ's. Although I like all Jags, the XJ series is my favorite. It was in excellent condition with 126,000km. It is a 3.6 standard model in Bordeaux Red with Doeskin leather interior. The carpets are rattan colour. It is 1988 3.6 litre and has the digital instruments. Contrary to popular belief all the instruments and computer functions work fine including the VCM....
